Quality Improvement

Quality improvement (QI) is integrated throughout the system of care. It provides a systematic structure for measuring performance and improving services and the system. Data gathered through this process is shared with the Transformation Committee to measure progress toward welcoming, recovery orientation, person/family centered care, trauma informed care, partnership in care coordination, and co-occurring capability development that will be measured system wide.

The QI committee is responsible for oversight of the evaluation and QI activities. Members of the committee are representatives from the SOC Steering Committee, self-disclosed peers, the project director and the evaluator. Data is analyzed quarterly, reviewed at the QI meeting and shared at Steering Committee meetings. The data is being used in preparation of Fact Sheets shared in newsletters, reports to agency representatives, community groups, and reports to the county and SAMHSA.
