Help with Food: Drive-up, Walk-in, Distributions, Pantries, Free Meals and Farmer’s Markets

The Community Food Bank …

has two types of distributions: drive-up and walk-in. You do not need to bring any proof of income, documentation or identification to receive food. No one will have to make a reservation prior to coming to the distribution.

Here is an opportunity to get groceries at no cost! Drive or walk up. Pick out produce to take home! Bring carts or bags if you have them. Distribution lasts for two hours, or while supplies lasts. No ID or preregistration required.

Meals on Wheels

This terrific program helps keep participants healthy and safe. Each meal delivery includes a friendly smile and a wellness check, which—especially for our elderly and differently-abled participants—alleviates isolation and provides peace of mind. Learn more at 724.774.0292

Beaver County Farmers’ Markets

Visitors will find locally grown produce, fresh-baked breads, fragrant flowers, hot prepared meals, sweet honey, homemade gifts and a cornucopia of other treats!

Day / Location / Times

The weekly markets return on April 29, starting with the Saturday markets at the Beaver County Court House parking lot in Beaver. Weekly hours there will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Then the first several days of May begin the weekly markets in Beaver Falls (Mondays), New Brighton (Tuesdays), Chippewa Township (also Tuesdays) and Ambridge (Thursdays).
The Beaver Falls market, behind Brodhead Apartments on Eighth Avenue; the New Brighton market, in the parking lot of Diamond Milling on Fifth Avenue; and the Chippewa market, in the Chippewa United Methodist Church lot on Darlington Road; all start at 3 p.m. ― a half hour earlier than last year, and last until 6 p.m.
