Mental Health First Aid Training

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an interactive 8-hour certification course that introduces participants to risk factors, warning signs, impacts of mental health problems, and overviews of common treatments. Participants learn a five-step action plan encompassing the skills, resources, and knowledge to help an individual in a psychiatric crisis connect with appropriate professional, social, and self-help care.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people.
